Sara focuses her practice on asset forfeiture law, police legal advisement and labor and employment law. She also represents law enforcement agencies that have seized various assets being used in violation of the Florida Contraband Forfeiture Act.
Prior to joining us, Sara served for over six years as an Assistant State Attorney at the Miami-Dade County State Attorney's Office, where she prosecuted hundreds of violent and non-violent criminal cases. As a member of the State Attorney's Organized Crime Unit, she gained extensive experience in asset forfeiture law and served as police legal advisor to a multi-agency task force whose primary mission was the investigation and prosecution of complex narcotics trafficking and money laundering organizations.
