Employment Litigation and Arbitration

As the laws prohibiting workplace discrimination, retaliation and harassment continue to expand, we regularly defend employers against these claims brought under Title VII of the Civil Rights Act of 1964, the Americans with Disabilities Act, the Age Discrimination in Employment Act, the Family Medical Leave Act, the Equal Pay Act, the Florida Civil Rights Act, the Florida Whistleblower’s Act, and similar Federal, State and local laws. Our Labor and Employment Group attorneys are at heart, litigators as well as employment law counselors, and we know how to win cases and how to reach favorable settlements. The Group’s goal is to put each client in the best leveraged position at every phase of employment and labor litigation to make the decision to settle or try to the case.

We defend lawsuits in Federal and state courts across Florida, including class actions and multi-plaintiff cases.  Our Group attorneys also regularly defend employers against discrimination charges brought before the U.S. Equal Employment Opportunity Commission, the Florida Commission on Human Relations and similar local agencies, and   handle arbitrations and civil service board and other administrative hearings for our public sector clients. We are results-oriented and have a tremendous track record of proven success in handling all forms of employment litigation for our clients.
