Mitch Burnstein has been appointed to a three-year term on the Executive Council of the Trial Lawyers Section of the Florida Bar. The Council represents and acts on behalf of the more than 5,000 members of the Trial Lawyers Section. For more than 50 years, the Section has worked with the Florida Legislature and all levels of the state courts system to improve the administration of justice. The Council advocates legislation and procedural rules to preserve and protect Florida’s jury system, conducts seminars for judges, and manages courses and competitions throughout the state to promote the art of trial advocacy. At the Council’s quarterly meeting in St. Augustine last month, Mitch was appointed to serve on the Section’s Advanced Trial Advocacy and Professionalism Committees.
