WSHC+B partner D. Porpoise Evans was named the 2022-2023 president of the board of directors for Legal Services of Greater Miami, Inc. at the organization’s Passing of the Gavel ceremony on September 20, hosted at the WSHC+B Coral Gables office.
Legal Services of Greater Miami, Inc. is a non-profit law firm that provides free legal aid to vulnerable members of the community facing legal matters concerning housing, health, income maintenance, employment, special education, tax and consumer rights.
Porpoise has been involved with the organization since 2011 and has held multiple roles on the board of directors, as well as served on the executive committee member. His practice focuses on the representation of public and private entities in connection with employment matters, government investigations, and legal disputes.
