Anthony Soroka provides counsel to local governments, businesses and community associations.

In the public sector, Anthony serves as City Attorney for the City of Deerfield Beach and as Assistant City Attorney for Parkland and Weston. He handles government contract disputes, procurement, business taxes, implementation of municipal budgets, telecommunications, and compliance with public records, sunshine and election laws. He has served as counsel on charter review committees, municipal code reviews and business tax advisory boards and has drafted government contracts, legislative items and administrative policies. He also serves as an alternate special magistrate and municipal prosecutor for municipal clients.

Anthony's public sector successes include negotiating a $100 million solid waste disposal contract, completing a comprehensive review and revision of the City of Weston’s code, preparing the legal analysis that supported overturning a $65 million no-bid contract, representing a local special recreation district in its dissolution, and voter approval of municipal charter amendments that he drafted.

On the private sector side, Anthony provides guidance and advice to entrepreneurs and developers in real estate and business acquisitions, condominium association matters, public-private partnerships, competitive bidding disputes, land use and zoning, real estate closings and foreclosures.

His private sector results include the successful protest of a $10 million contract award, the acquisition of a tax and accounting practice, obtaining a substantial insurance refund from FEMA on behalf of a condominium client, advising real estate developers on establishing a condominium association and transfer of association control to unit owners, and zoning due diligence for a site acquisition company.
