Carlos “Charlie” Grande represents local governments, municipalities, and public entities across a wide range of complex matters, including election law, public trust and ethics, government contracts, public records, and Sunshine Law compliance. He regularly advises public clients on drafting and reviewing legislation, analyzing statutory and regulatory updates, and ensuring operational compliance with evolving legal requirements.

Prior to joining the firm, Charlie practiced at a boutique litigation firm focused on complex cross-border disputes and international commercial matters. He drafted responsive pleadings in international disputes involving foreign law and conducted in-depth research on complex issues, including the valuation of confiscated Cuban properties.

During law school, Charlie gained significant practical experience through legal clerkships, researching construction dispute resolution frameworks and reviewing title commitments. He also drafted responsive pleadings, reviewed easements and other real property documents, and presented development feasibility analyses to clients.[1.1]

A Coral Gables native, Charlie attended Belen Jesuit Preparatory School before going on to Georgetown University, where he competed on the Division I tennis team while double-majoring in International Business and Marketing and developing proficiency in Italian, Portuguese, and French. He earned his Juris Doctor from Southern Methodist University Dedman School of Law in 2025, serving as an ABA Representative for the Student Bar Association.
