Christian focuses his practice on complex commercial litigation, business transactions, and appellate matters.

Before joining the firm, Christian served as a judicial law clerk to Judge Melissa Damian, first during her tenure as a U.S. Magistrate Judge and then as a U.S. District Judge for the Southern District of Florida. Before that, he served as a judicial law clerk to Judge Bronwyn Miller of Florida’s Third District Court of Appeal. Through his clerkships, he developed experience with civil and criminal matters, often involving constitutional issues, including cases brought under 42 U.S.C. § 1983, the Uniform Commercial Code, Title VII of the Civil Rights Act of 1964, the First and Fourth Amendments, and the Federal Transit Act. He also gained proficiency in legal research and writing through drafting numerous memoranda, orders, and opinions. Prior to his clerkships, Christian practiced at a full-service litigation law firm based in Fort Lauderdale.

Christian earned his Juris Doctor from Florida International University College of Law, where he served as Executive Articles Editor of the FIU Law Review and was a member of the Board of Appellate Advocates. As a staff member of the FIU Law Review, his comment regarding the implied ascertainability requirement to class certification under Federal Rule of Civil Procedure 23 was selected for publication. During law school, Christian also completed internships with former Magistrate Judge John O’Sullivan of the Southern District of Florida, the U.S. Attorney’s Office for the Southern District of Florida, the U.S. Equal Employment Opportunity Commission, and the Miami-Dade State Attorney’s Office. He received his Bachelor of Arts in political science from Nova Southeastern University and speaks Spanish fluently.
