Caroline is a partner in the Firm’s Labor & Employment Division. Her practice focuses on representing management in municipal government agencies.

With a unique, comprehensive perspective of both management and labor representation, Caroline represents clients on a broad range of employment and labor matters, including Public Employee Relation Commission administrative hearings, employee disciplines, grievance arbitrations, collective bargaining negotiations, employment agreements, and investigations. 

Prior to joining the Firm, Caroline was in-house counsel at a law enforcement union for a decade, which provided her with in-depth knowledge of the intricacies of labor law in the public sector. In this role, she represented employees in all aspects of administrative investigations, arbitration hearings, disciplinary appeals, and Florida Department of Law Enforcement CJSTC proceedings.

In addition to her labor law experience, Caroline conducted shelter hearings as a dependency law attorney, as well as conducted bench trials as a certified legal intern for a state attorney’s office. 

Caroline graduated from the University of Miami School of Law where she was inducted into the Society of Bar and Gavel. She founded the Student Animal Legal Defense Fund (SALDF) and served as its president until her graduation, organizing various CLE symposia and community service events related to animal welfare. 

Prior to law school, Caroline utilized her business management and marketing degrees in the professional employer organization field.
