Over a career that spans almost 50 years, Cliff Schulman has practiced in the areas of environmental law, land use and zoning, growth management, subdivision law, land development and comprehensive planning issues. Cliff is generally recognized as one of the preeminent zoning, land use and land development lawyers in Florida.

From Coral Gables to West Palm Beach, Cliff’s work on major development projects has shaped South Florida’s skyline. Over the years he has developed deep relationships with clients including The Related Group of Florida, Michael Swerdlow companies, Jose Milton & Associates, Turnberry Group, Jules Trump Organization and Fortune Organization. Cliff has worked on high-profile projects including Fisher Island, Williams Island, Acqualina, and numerous other hi-rise developments in Miami-Dade County. A sample of Cliff’s work includes:

  • Represented numerous high-rise developers in Sunny Isles Beach for high end condominium approvals;
  • Represented developers of SoLe Mia in North Miami for over 4,000 new residential units and over 1 million square feet of commercial/office development;
  • Helped with environmental clean-ups of clients located in Miami-Dade and Broward Counties.

Cliff has vast experience in the field of Environmental Law and has served as Chair of The Florida Bar’s Committee on Land Use and Environmental Law.
