Erica represents public and private employers in employment litigation matters in state and federal court, handling a broad range of workplace disputes, including claims involving Title VII of the Civil Rights Act (Title VII), the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA), the Age Discrimination in Employment Act (ADEA), the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA), the Family and Medical Leave Act (FMLA) the Florida Civil Rights Act (FCRA), the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA), and the Florida Whistleblower Act. Erica also handles matters relating to the enforcement of non-compete and non-solicitation agreements and misappropriation of trade secrets. Additionally, she frequently represents employers before federal and state local administrative agencies such as the U.S. Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC).
Erica holds a Bachelor of Arts in Editing, Writing, & Media from the Florida State University. She obtained her J.D. from Florida University College of Law. During law school, she served as a member of FIU’s Law Review as well as the Board of Appellate Advocates.
