On April 3rd, Weiss Serota Helfman Cole & Bierman hosted a breakfast panel program entitled, “Opportunity Zones-Beyond The Basics” at Morton’s in Coral Gables. Our Panel included Firm Member and head of our Real Estate practice, Joe Hernandez, Firm Partner Drew Demers, tax attorney David Neufeld, Carol Surowiec, CPA, Michael Fay, Michael Wohl, and the City Manager of South Miami, Steve Alexander. The panel discussed in detail the private and public benefits and possible regulations of Opportunity Zones.
