Firm litigation partner Roger Kobert, a Florida Bar Board Certified Specialist in International Litigation & Arbitration, and the 2019 Chairman of the Federal Bar Association’s International Law Section, spoke on September 5 as a panelist at the FBA’s Annual Meeting in Tampa. The seminar’s topic was “Noteworthy SCOTUS Decisions for General Counsel, Business Litigators, and Jurists.” Roger spoke on important international law issues decided by the U.S. Supreme Court during its 2018 term, plus 2019 cases yet to be decided, particularly the Foreign Sovereign Immunities Act and arbitration rights.
